A Look Back at 2015

Well, friends and fellow bookworms, it’s New Year’s Eve, and 2015 is quickly coming to a close. How can it be? It seems as if just yesterday 2015 was fresh, new, with no mistakes in it.

But this chapter of our lives is headed for the shelves, never to return again, only to be remembered for what we learned, loved, lost, and of course, read in these past 12 months.

I believe 2015 was a year of incredible growth and change for me in many ways, and I hope it was for each of you. It was filled with many twists and turns, ups and downs, laughter and tears, but I can truly say that 2015 was a beautiful year.

I reminded myself each day that my goal in life was simple: to glorify God with my life, enjoy life, and be fearless (because that was my word for 2015). And while I certainly have regrets, I can look back and know that I gave this year my all.

I stretched myself in ways I never thought I could, and I feel as though I am finally discovering myself. It’s a glorious thing to venture out of the cage you create for yourself in your head- there’s a great big beautiful world out there, just waiting for us to explore it!

Today as I looked back over the stacks of books I have read this year, I decided I wanted to mention the ones that really touched me in some way- whether they made me think deeply, laugh hard, or maybe even cry.

What were the books that you will remember reading in 2015?
