Every day is a gift, every moment a blessing. And it is possible to see the Gracious hand of God, even in the mess, the pain, the tears.
Part of embracing life is embracing the knowledge that life is short, fragile, and that death is inevitable.
What matters is not whether we make it onto the “30 Under 30” list, or experience great financial success, or rub shoulders with the rich and powerful.
What matters is that we glorify God, and love people, and smile, laugh, and enjoy the moments between the dates on our tombstone. That is our legacy.
So let me encourage you to stop and smell the roses, to hold kittens, to drink coffee on the porch, to truly get to know people and show them you care.
Because life is short, so short. None of us know when we will go, or when we will lose someone dear to us. May we live each moment as if it were our last.
